This floor is in a condominium.  Noise reduction was a big factor and it required a half inch cork barrier sub floor to accomplish proper noise reduction.  After that we covered the floor with this beautiful wire brushed oil finish Collete from the Garrison Du Bois Collection. This is a great color which is really a grey brown depending on the lighting you see both colors!! Finished with a penetrating oil, this floor is super dramatic.
