This wood is a 7 inch wide by five eighths thick Engineered pre-finished floor. The construction of the planks is a solid filet of French White Oak, with a backing of several ply of birch plywood. This material is very stable, can be glued, nailed or floated for installation. The surface has been wire brushed to remove the softer grain and achieve a weathered but still formal and dignified surface texture.

The floor then had Caffe stain applied, and was finished with penetrating oil sealer for a very natural sheen .

This is a middle priced selection with a lot of value.
